and then from the writing bit, which I only saw a bit of, one thing Kiefer says is that "..I sometimes work with paintings on the floor and move them around a lot. For me this is natural, for the painting is not static - even my easils have wheels. The paintings move around in the night! When I move them they generate new combinations and relationships. One painting is never one painting in my studio. Each is always seen in the context of others. .. But even then, showing my work in a gallery or a museum seems quite an unnatural thing for me to do..."
probably because, partly, the studio and the museum doesnt have enough space, and has too many rules and then the paintings arent used to the other paintings and stuff. maybe.
